I acquired brand know-how in advertising (Economia) and branding agencies (Lothar Böhm) and in the group of Thorn EMI Electrola, where I was responsible for consumer-centric marketing and pan-European sustainability projects.
My second passion is Africa: growing up in South Africa and having a second home in Namibia, I am currently training as a safari guide to inspire others to discover the world, find their way back to nature, explore their own boundaries and authentic, unique experiences.

Since the sale of my agency shares to my partners in 2008, I am active as council and investor: either for entrepreneurial personalities with exciting tasks or brands with potential.
For many years, I have also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eleatis AG, a financial services company. Since 2017 I am accompanying a start-up for blockchain based software, where I also became shareholder.

To ensure this, I develop user-friendly tools that help simplify application of the new Corporate Design and reduce sources of error. For us, corporate design is a service – because the rule-compliant application of the design is encouraged, if straightforward consultation and development of solutions are available to all users.
I am passionate about the design of branded products. From single packaging as well as range design, to logo, corporate and form/structural design to final artwork.
